Daniel Voinea

Dr. Gheorghe Daniel Voinea earned his Ph.D. title in 2021 in the area of Industrial Engineering. His research was focused on monitoring the driver’s posture in order to detect and prevent dangerous driving scenarios. He graduated in 2012 from Transilvania University of Brasov, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Applied Electronics, and then continued with a Master in the same area. During his doctoral studies, he was involved as a research assistant on 5 national and international research projects. On the eHeritage project, supported by the European Commission through the Horizon 2020 work plan (www.eheritage.org), he enriched his skills in virtual and augmented reality, digitization, 3D modeling and animation, mobile augmented applications with a focus on dedicated tools such as Unreal Engine, Unity, Blender, ARCore, and others. He has published 24 scientific papers (12 ISI).
